The summer school is intended for PhD students, post-docs, junior and senior faculty members, in Applied Mathematics, Economics, Finance, and Statistics.
The school is also addressed to professionals working on the analysis and modeling of massive and heterogeneous data from financial markets, inter-bank markets, and other social systems, which are typically monitored by regulatory authorities and national statistical services.
Starting from real data, the course will provide a description of the structure and properties of several social networks, as well as the statistical and mathematical methods employed to perform the empirical analysis.
Participants may also take the opportunity to discuss and present their own research projects with leading researchers in the relaxed and open atmosphere of the Dolomites.
